Premium Materials
in Every Garment

We source only from certified mills and licensed brand holders — Nomex® by DuPont, Kevlar® by DuPont, Cordura® by Invista, Thermolite® by Invista — because the material is the foundation of the protection.

The Fabric Determines the Protection Level

Protective performance in PPE starts long before a garment is cut and sewn. Inherent flame resistance — as found in Nomex® — is a property of the polymer chain, not a chemical treatment applied to the surface. This distinction is critical: topical FR treatments degrade with washing, but inherent FR performance cannot be laundered out. When you specify a garment made from Nomex® or Kevlar®, you are specifying a material where the protection is inseparable from the fiber itself.

Material traceability is equally important. Premium Safety Apparel sources fabric exclusively from licensed mills that hold the relevant brand certifications from DuPont and Invista. Every production batch is traceable from mill certificate through fabric lot number to finished garment and test report — documentation that supports your compliance requirements and simplifies audits.

Traceability from Mill to Garment

Every roll of Nomex® and Kevlar® used in our production is sourced from licensed mills that hold active authorization agreements with DuPont. This means the fiber content, weave specification and brand authentication can be verified at every stage of the supply chain — not just at the finished garment level.

Mill certificates accompany every fabric delivery, linked by lot number to the finished garment production record. When we ship an order, we can provide the complete chain of documentation: from the DuPont-licensed mill certificate through the fabric lot number, production batch record, finished garment inspection report and third-party test certificate.

This traceability is particularly important for Nomex® and Kevlar® because the inherent FR and cut-resistance properties are inseparable from the authentic fiber. There is no functional equivalent — an unlicensed aramid fabric cannot carry the brand name, cannot be certified to the same standards and cannot provide the same level of auditable assurance to procurement and EHS teams.
