Aluminized garments reflect radiant heat rather than absorbing it, making them the primary PPE solution for extreme heat environments where radiant exposure would immediately damage other garments. EN ISO 11612 D and E sub-class ratings specifically address molten aluminium and molten iron splash performance for foundry and steel plant operations.
